Hong Kong, China, 17th June 2022, Prof. Michael Yang, Vice-president of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) visits ZSHK Laboratories Limited (ZSHK). Dr. Li Ming, CEO of ZSHK accompanied Prof. Yang’s visit to ZSHK’s experimental facilities in Hong Kong and introduced to him the layouts of the laboratory, equipment and apparatus, operation of functional areas and experimental procedures.

In the subsequent discussion, Dr. Li introduced to Prof. Yang the business mode of ZSHK. Both parties discussed topics such as the pharmaceutical R&D service mode and area that Hong Kong experimental facilities could provide in-depth.
Prof. Yang indicated that ZSHK’s operation of drug evaluation organization acts as an indispensable foundation of Hong Kong’s pharmaceutical industry development. Then introduced CityU’s development history, existing life-sciences-related programs, strategies CityU developed to enhance technological development and relevant information about the “HK Tech300 Event” organized by CityU to ZSHK.
Both Prof. Yang and Dr. Li agreed that the commercialization of basic scientific and research findings is a crucial step of Hong Kong’s pharmaceutical industry development. It is hoped by both parties that the collaboration mode of scientific research service, student training etc. could be explored more fully.
